The Suspicious Housekeeper

The Suspicious Housekeeper is an overwhelming drama that would soften the hearts of the viewers. This Korean drama is a melodramatic one about family healing process and building their bonds once again. Starring Choi Ji-woo as Park Bok-nyeo a woman who serves as the housekeeper of the Gyeol family, Lee Sung-jae as Eun Sang-chul the man who is the head of the Gyeol family, Wang Ji-hye as Yoon Song-hwa the woman who had an affair with Eun Sang-chul and Kim So-hyun as the eldest sister of the family. You’ll tend to be more curious as to why the housekeeper acts that why. The family seems to be in turmoil because of the sudden truth that was being spoken and revealed.

The Gyeol family experienced a sudden death and a sad truth about their mother being completely gone in their arms. This brought devastation to the four kids and the question keeps running in their mind that why their mother did left suddenly leaving them behind and they kept on wondering if she wasn’t thinking about them when she was committing suicide. A confession was made by their father that he had an affair that’s why their mother committed suicide. Leaving the children confused and angered by the bitter truth they blamed and disowned their father. This dilemma will then bring some unexpected events and more intriguing events.

Miss Bok-nyeo, as how they would address their housekeeper is a really uncanny one. She is very known for a very fine work when it comes to housekeeping and all sorts of things. What’s odd about her is that she never smiles, she does every order you’ll say like literally, and she has this personality you can compare to a robot or even a living corpse. Because of these bizarre personalities she has the four kids including their father suspects her identity and grows more curious as to who she really is. The four siblings wanted to seek comfort and guidance to her but then again she would just coldly refuse and say it is not her matter to enter with.

You really don’t have to judge a person with its cover because you never know what they have gone through to be the person they are today.  Unexpectedly, the person you never rely on becomes the pillar and the support of everyone. A family can and may experience hurdles in life but it doesn’t mean that your family is not worth fighting for. A broken family can be mended for as long as everyone has the heart to forgive and start again. With this drama, essential family lessons will be taught and it will move your heart and change your perspective in dealing similar ordeals.
