It's Okay, That's Love

There is no other Korean drama that is crazier than It’s Okay That’s Love. The genre of this series is mainly romance but there’s a bit of bizarre events in the story that makes it even weird. Starring Jo In-Sung as Jang Jae-yeol who is a novelist and a DJ, Gong Hyo-jin as Ji Hae-soo who is a psychiatrist, Sung Dong-il as Jo Dong-min who is a senior colleague of Ji Hae-soo, Lee Kwang-soo as Park Soo-kwang who is a waiter with a Tourette Syndrome and Do Kyung-soo as Han Kang-woo who is a student and fan of Jang Jae-yeol. With this group of people having slight mental disorder, you will surely be left with your jaws hanging wide open in shock of these episodes with them. These people will live under the same roof and it is a must watch drama because of course who wouldn’t be curious of what will happen with this kind of environment with different types of personalities.

In spite of having an awful past, Jan Jae-yeol, as a man of today, has been more successful regardless of what he has faced through the years of his childhood. Being a mystery fiction novelist gained him popularity and overwhelming embrace from the people. And during this live show on TV he will meet this smart and compassionate psychiatrist named Ji Hae-soo (Gong Hyo-jin). This meeting made Jang Jae-yeol (Jo In-sung) gain interest of her. But then Ji Hae-soo is a girl who is hard to get so Jang Jae-yeol finds pursuing her a challenging one.

Coincidence or maybe fate brought him to his new apartment where Ji Hae-soo also lives along with her two roommates Jo Dong-min and Park Soo-kwang. There he witnessed the weird environment of group who has peculiar habits and personalities. He realized how tough it was to catch Ji Hae-soo because she was sharp and she doesn’t fall for his traps.  A pause was needed for chasing Ji Hae-soo because he learned that she had a boyfriend. But because of his insensitive behavior he ended up ruining the relationship of Ji Hae-soo and her boyfriend unintentionally. Thus it becomes an opportunity for their relationship to bloom.

Within the episodes of this drama is a series of stories of the people having some disorders. You see, there times when we come to think of how odd a person can be and we lead to concluding and judging him right away. But then this drama teaches how to be considerate for those people who undergo counseling to treat their disorders. And sometimes these people with their problems tend to feel lonely hiding in the cave. The struggle to stay in darkness is a challenge that a person must overcome but we always have those people who bring the light and making you come out from that cave to let you see the brightness of life has to offer. If  there is a light that you can see even if it’s little, there is hope in your journey and you don’t have to carry all the weight.

  1. This drama is definitely one of the best! I loooooveeee this drama so much! I also made my own review of this drama. And I agree with you, you don't need to carry all the weight, you should learn to trust people and let them help you carry such weight. I'm looking forward to more of your reviews. ^^
